Flanders Fields

From the brewer

"A light, sweet and fruity classic English ale. The sweet malt flavour comes from pale malt, with some toffee from the crystal malt in this light easy drinking ale."

Tasting Notes

Brewed to commemorate the end of the First World War 100 years ago - Greene King has teamed up with the Royal British Legion and 20p from each pint sold is donated to the charity. The sweet malt flavour comes from pale malt, with some toffee from the crystal malt in this light easy drinking ale. Classic English hops in the boiling copper give moderate bitterness and a fresh herbal hop note. A hint of grapefruit citrus comes from the addition of Chinook as a late hop and sweet fruity esters are created by the special yeast making a balanced light and fruity ale.
