What personal data will be involved?

Greene King Brewing & Retailing Ltd is the data controller for this event. During the day, we’ll be recording still photos  of attendees and carrying out some short interviews with guests who want to give us feedback about our beers or the event.

What will my personal data be used for?

The recordings might be shared quite widely. We will keep them for 25 years. Any release forms signed on the night will be retained for 6 months afterwards.

We’ll be using professionals to take the recordings but they won’t be allowed to use the recordings for their own purposes.

What’s your lawful basis?

We think our guests are the best people to tell everyone how great our beers are, so we’ll be relying on our legitimate interest as a pub company to show our guests having a great time and provide a platform for them to give us and other guests their honest opinions about our products.

If you feature prominently in any of the recordings that we might use, we will ask you to complete a release form, to get your permission.

What are my rights?

Not everyone likes to be recorded whilst they are out having a good time. If that’s you, then please make yourself known to the event staff or photographer as soon as you arrive, and they will point out which areas we won’t be making recordings in.
